In the last ten years, many products developed by European fertilizer companies have entered the Turkish market and have begun to be used significantly in agricultural production. These products, particularly those focusing on nitrogen technologies, significantly increase yield and quality through efficient nitrogen utilization, while also preventing pollution of groundwater and surface water. Considering our accumulated knowledge and advanced technological infrastructure, the idea arose that these high-quality products could also be produced in our country. After approximately two years of intensive literature and laboratory studies, our Nitrification Inhibitor fertilizers, which constitute the product portfolio of Doğatech, were developed. Our patent applications have been filed with the Turkish Patent Institute, and our products have been protected. The most effective product formulations have been prepared, and production licenses and registration certificates for drip irrigation and top fertilizers under the trade name DOĞATECH STABLE have been obtained from our Ministry of Agriculture. Applications for base fertilizers under the trade name DOĞATECH BASIC have also been submitted. Our factory has been established in Yeşilhisar District, Kayseri Province, and production of our products has begun. Our products have been delivered to farmers in our region who produce potatoes, sugar beets, apples, pears, green beans, and sunflowers, and comparative trials have been established on a field scale with equivalent products from European companies. Yield increases of 10-40% have been achieved depending on soil characteristics, and much better performances have been obtained compared to foreign equivalent products. Our goal is to accelerate our research and investments and become a national and even international company.
