SOLAREX is a supportive product developed to prevent the harmful Ultraviolet (UV-B and UV-A) rays of the sun from causing stress conditions in plants, preventing discoloration and necrosis in fruits, extending storage life, and increasing the quantity of marketable fruits and vegetables in the production of fruits, vegetables, and industrial crops. The active ingredient in SOLAREX, TiO2 molecules with a RUTYL crystal structure, have a high ability to reflect UV-B and UV-A rays. With this feature, it prevents excessive heating of the leaf and fruit surface, prevents the formation of heat stress and the slowing of plant development due to stress, reduces plant water use, keeps fruit surfaces cool, and reduces the rate of discoloration and necrosis. It does not leave stains on the fruit and vegetable surface like kaolin and calcium carbonate.
